Audiology

Audiologists deal with all aspects of hearing and hearing loss. At UCLA, audiology faculty and staff fit and dispense hearing aids, evaluate patients for cochlear implants and program the devices, assess the physiological status of the auditory and related structures to assist the diagnosis of pathologies of the ear, and to rehabilitate and counsel people disabled by hearing loss.
